SMX70LL vs SM645HPA: Both are tilt-back tire changers. The SMX70LL ($14,999) is a fully leverless design — the tool never touches the bead, providing maximum protection for high-end alloy and low-profile wheels. The SM645HPA ($8,799) uses a traditional arm system requiring some tool contact. For shops regularly servicing expensive or delicate wheels, the leverless design of the SMX70LL justifies the price difference.

Its leverless demounting system with double support to the rim eliminates contact between the tool and the bead, protecting modern alloy and low-profile wheels from damage.
